Hear me out:

For CBDC to be forced upon people they (Oligarchs of the world) need the present system to horribly fail, so that they can now say here is CBDC tokens according to the last balance in your fractional reserve banks.

They will inflate the shit out of this system to basically force the CBDC in this fashion. Seems quite a plan.

Please change my mind if you find this scenario doesn't playing out like this.
