I didn't think that monero works the same as btc, as far as price vs fiat? It's designed as a private currency, not a store of value. You should be able to trade in and out of it using bitcoin or by mining it. Maybe I'm wrong πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ I have limited knowledge of it beyond the privacy part.

Sure but with limited supply, the price will follow the demand anyway πŸ‘πŸ»

I'm not selling my Bitcoin btw if I made some maxi angry πŸ˜„...

πŸ˜… For sure! Looks like the price is up $20 from my last buy back in August. I just don't have a good way to get any, I have to do a swap for btc... Therefore I'll just hodl btc instead and use xrm as needed.

I would do that too if I had to choose one

Monero has 0.85% inflation per year and is falling toward an asymptotically zero inflation rate over time. Since its inflation rate is actually less than that of gold, it's still a fantastic store of value, and I may or may not be storing long-term value in it, but you will never know.

Absolutely, that's the beauty of it
