I didn't think that monero works the same as btc, as far as price vs fiat? It's designed as a private currency, not a store of value. You should be able to trade in and out of it using bitcoin or by mining it. Maybe I'm wrong 🤷🏼‍♂️ I have limited knowledge of it beyond the privacy part.
