I understand your concern, and I agree that genuine faith should lead to a transformed heart and life. But I think it’s important to recognize that Paul’s message of salvation through confession and belief (“confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus…”) is not the same as the message Jesus Himself taught.
Jesus consistently emphasized love, forgiveness, mercy, and even loving our enemies — a life rooted in action and compassion, not just verbal confession or doctrinal belief. His gospel was about living love, not merely declaring faith. So when I question Paul’s teachings, it’s not to distort the Bible, but to return to the simplicity and purity of what Jesus actually said and lived.

I read the comments on that video and looked at his channel. I planned to maybe watch some of it, but have no intention now.
He has too many red flags, and it does not seem like he is engaging in genuine good faith or the nuance you described above based on the comments I read.
