They will. The US has high taxation. Switzerland has a wealth tax..
They have been, and everyone who contributes the most to GDP is leaving.

I remember spending 5 figures to mine BTC so I could have a KYC-free stash, and continuously questioning myself on whether or not it would pay off.

Yeah there is a reason millionaires aren't leaving the US......and it's not because they want to stay. Our Exit Tax is crippling......whereas The UK(biggest loser) has no Exit Tax.
This is why I maintain that Exit Tax is the worst tax........it hamstrings your ability to vote with your feet
