I'm wondering what's your opinions on human augmentation. Deus Ex way. Let's say it can be all opensource (hw, sw).

Sure, why not. Especially people with body disfunction wold enjoy becoming cyborgs.
I know it's not the same and that I piss many. But a very primitive way we know now is a sex transition. Or that Elon's company.
I'm sure Deus Ex series were not wrong. People will hate augmented. It's inevitable that naturals and augmented will clash.
I don't know. Games tend to dramatize stuff too much, although Deus Ex has valid points. Humanity is more boring I think.

In Deus Ex (or pretty much any #cyberpunk) it's about individualism and uniqness. The opposite of borgs. That's how I understand it.
I think becoming borg-ish would be the main concern of the government. Or this would be so expensive it would be extremely rare.
I still have much more positive thoughts about augmentation than you.
