I left a carton of eggs out overnight

Did I just lose a fortune or are they still safe?

down bad

They only lose value if they’re US eggs

Probably fine. Float test them.

I heard float test is an old wives tale, doesn't tell you about bacteria just age? 🤔

All eggs have bacteria, old eggs have enough to change an eggs density & make an egg float

You don't have to store eggs in the fridge

I believe if the bloom was washed off you must

Get a chicken bro

Still if store bought you can leave them out for like a week- 2 weeks

They’re fine as long as they’re cooked and attain a temperature of 165 F in the process. They’re likely even fine anyway. I’d eat them raw

😅 they're fine. It's nature's perfect packaging.

Still safe. Test them by putting in water derp enough for them to float or sink (big bowl, sink). If any float to the water line, they are bad. Sinkers are fine.

*deep derp

ump Bhind homeplate callz "SAFE" _hearsay/dyor ps;i have frozen eggs B*4

If they are store bought they are probably fine. Just dont eat one raw..

If they are "direct to consuner" from a freind you're definitely fine..

I keep mine on a shelf for weeks.

There’s only one way to find out!
