I'm afraid many people confuse freedom of speech with spreading hate speech and misinformation, mostly for someone's own personal gain. Having traffic rules does not make your country a communist state. Prosecuting homicide does not make the DA a socialist.

Unfortunately not everyone has the same degree of education-e.g. millions of Americans really believed DT when he said Mexico would pay for the wall- and therefore I believe that, in a civilized society there should be limits, and if only to let the scammers know that there may be consequences if they go too far.
