I'm afraid many people confuse freedom of speech with spreading hate speech and misinformation, mostly for someone's own personal gain. Having traffic rules does not make your country a communist state. Prosecuting homicide does not make the DA a socialist.
Unfortunately not everyone has the same degree of education-e.g. millions of Americans really believed DT when he said Mexico would pay for the wall- and therefore I believe that, in a civilized society there should be limits, and if only to let the scammers know that there may be consequences if they go too far.
Outside of Bitcoin, the most relevant currency in this space is your reputation. Slow to accumulate, easy to lose all at once. Think twice before staking it.
