If your message partner is not interested in your security after explaining to them they are not worth it to be in your network.

I would love to not use it, and I do use Signal primarily, but as I am working a lot in African countries - everyone is using WhatsApp here and nothing else. Sadly a result of internet costs and subsidies paid by Meta. WhatsApp is free or the cheapest option.
