A ‘feel at home’ moment: I’ve been away from my 2 year old son for almost two weeks.
I was telling my therapist how I was missing hugs.
The next day I went to a cafe and a little 3 year old boy was standing on a chair next to me at my height.
As I was looking through the glass to select my pastry, I feel his little arms wrap around my neck.
He hugged me for ten seconds then continued to giggle. His mama was standing there in shock.
It was pure & needed. Moments of comfort can come from any direction if we are open to it.
