In Massachusetts companies are already doing this.. well some. 4 day work week but 10 hour days
Yeah I work 36 hours in three days. But the UAW isn't asking for 10 hour days. They want to work 4 8 hour days and get paid for working 5 days.
I can understand the inflation-inspired drastic increase in pay. But, v4v always. Getting a 3% "cost-of-living increase" when true inflation is nearing 20% is a pay decrease in real terms.
Feels like there’s possibility this is a negotiation tactic to ask for the world first and then receive something less
