Why do employees insist on doing things the way they "like to" rather than how you spent weeks trainining them?

When the way "they like" is always fucking retarded, overlooks every nuanced issue, results in a worse outcome and yet, yet they still think "their way" is better

If their management choices were implemented accross the company, the company would fail in short order

Do your fucking job like your boss asks, they are your boss for a reason

The reason is you are retarded and lucky to have smarter people creating jobs for you losers

ex: the mail needs to be checked after 2pm because that is when the mail is delivered and yet the mail is being checked at 9 am because that is when she "likes to" check it. Now the mail has been a day behind because she is too retarded to listen to when the mail arrives. Small issue but jesus christ, if you can't understnd that then what the fuck do you think you are ever going to accomplish.

I was just chatting with my mate about exactly this. His boy is refusing to do as he's told, when he's told. It's getting him into trouble at school. We discussed the fact that he has to learn now, because when he gets to the age to go and work, if a boss has a choice between two people, one who does as they're told, when they're told, and one who does what they feel like, if they feel like, there's a clear choice.

People who can't follow simple instructions are an absolute menace.

Instead of telling what to do to someone you should explain them the why. If they don't respect the why, the issue should then be resolved through arguments. If you are never able to see things the same way as your colleagues, maybe you are not compatible with them or on different level of consciousness and should not work together. You should also consider that good changes take time, if they keep going on the good direction, it's generally good for the long term.
