Exposing food industry.
This is about my experience working in many places. Few of these were food manufacturers.
For example I worked in a place where nuts were packed.
Or in tortilla factory (I couldn't call it bakery although people were using this word.)
Or I worked even with fishes.
The most interesting fact was that in one place the same, exact food went to different shops.
You know - the same exact nuts or tortilla, I mean excact the same, went to different packagings and send to different stores and there is sell for various price.
That was crazy to me. I thought the shops.lnown for a better quality food outsourcing their supply from different place than the most cheap. But they're coming from the same place.
But there was a catch, I noticed that more often than not, these products that are going to "more expensive" stores are packed in the most quiet time - for example when employees are less tired, where there's not so much issues with broken machines (in the morning for example).
In food there's energy... the best if its mom's or grandma good loving energy and intentions. What about food produced in factories? Machines are shaking your food, ingredients are going to one pot/place without any respect, thrown like the worst thing, everyone running around, trying fix machines, be on time, make sure the boss won't complain, managers be happy etc. etc. These are places where people work, there's rarely space for appreciation. So
most employees are anxious, doesn't want to be there, want to be rather at home, arguing over the stuff that you are then putting in your mouth.
It's as if person who you love, mom or grandma suddenly would running around the house with some bowls, smashing ingredients angryli to it and arguing over it (and I'm not talking about Italian kind of arguing...:)) - would you like to eat it or you'd eat something that was prepared because someone wants to ?
Many people got this experience of growing your own food even if its onion on the balcony - we are happy to see its growing, there's some sense of appreciation. There's definitely sense of appreciation when mom with a smile giving you a plate under your chin.
I'm just saying its important to have an ownership as much as we can. Same salad prepared in house where you can magically put good words over it taste different.
Sometimes when I make a soup in a big pot I feel like a witch who is creating magic substance that gives everyone energy and can improve their mood and health.
Its not just a food, its highest quality remedy.
