Antminer S9 purchased with APW3++ power supply, w 5-15P to C13 power cable. 🤘🏽
Been all in old Bitcoin forum and Reddit posts about being able to run with a standard US 110V outlet (still renting, so need to wait until I can get an extra 220V in a few months which will be more ideal I know).
Mixed opinions, for sure, but seems like you could also run 1 or 2 of the boards vs all 3, with less watts (and hash).
Anyone else running an S9 at home without a 220V?

Grab a Loki board & you can use an s19 at home 😏
Just bought one two weeks ago. Only setup and got running but haven’t linked to pool yet or made more permanent. Just don’t think the cost benefit is there and it’s warm out now. I want to use as a heat supplement in the fall/winter.

Reached out on telegram last week - they got back to me pretty quick but had to send a gentle reminder yesterday for the invoice last night. They sent right away, paid it, and responded that it should ship next week. All in all, pretty easy and comes with I think everything you would need

Yeah I nudged them and they actually responded yesterday after almost a week. But still no invoice. Radio silence as soon as I mentioned the invoice lol
Easy to run S9 on standard 110 outlet, but very important to consult an electrician friend to confirm it’s safe to use an outlet 24/7.
I did my own wiring to run s19s and melted some adapters. After having electrician set it up I had no problems, just had to manage ventilation.
Kaboom racks sells good s9’s in my experience, it’s a bit annoying they come pre-installed w braiins tho since that donates hash to the dev fee.
I used the S9’s in winter to help heat my rental, it was a lifesaver.
FYI I have an s19 XP 141 I need to sell, 1 month of usage, if anyone’s interested.
