Thinking nations won't engage in an open-source, zero-trust, permissionless protocol that produces the most valuable resource ever is failing to grasp the larger game theory that is going to play out.

I've read the thesis and I'm not sure what to tell you.. he explains what bitcoin is from a first principles, systems thinking approach and its totally perception altering.
I think once you can get it for free you should read it even if you think you disagree with it. If you go into it with an open mind I think you might be surprised.
