Literally everything has a cost. Even if you got food for free, you still have to expend effort to fucking chew it 😂

Exactly. The currency of nature is calories - where creatures have to do economic calculation with calories to determine what’s worth an expenditure and what’s not.
I prefer to expend time / money / energy on getting more free. Probably because I hate the idea of being lorded over by corrupt and incompetent losers. So I do what I want and take the risks and pay the costs associated with that way of life.
Great points! Paying a 3% tax may not be freedom but it’s certainly still cheaper than declaring war against the country’s government. Seems like the battle is always this push-pull between government and citizens.
