Maybe your friend was referring to the ‘NSA’ who spent the time and money to create SHA-256 and then very generously gave it away for free such that it’s now central to the Bitcoin network (eg: addresses, mining etc).
Discussion
Has SHA-256 been studied and vetted as much as the Bitcoin code? Is it 100% safe and backdoor proof?
I’m no expert in that field but my understanding is that prior SHAs have been cracked / broken. So I think it’s a valid question.
The FUD never ends does it? Hopefully Satoshi was a man of honor and did not use SHA-256 knowing it had a flaw/backdoor.
Well, here’s the kicker: Nobody knows who Satoshi is or was; maybe he was the NSA. 🤷♂️ Don’t get me wrong, I still think that Bitcoin is the best option available to us; I just like to keep it real. 🤙
Yes. But all things considered, the juice really hate bitcoin and keep trying to derail it. I think he was/is legit. A legit Genius, probably divinely guided. BTC is so underestimated. I think it's what makes TKD possible. No more #110, just straight TKD this time.
