What's the value of water?

How much would you pay?

I'm expecting to pay 2.5 cents per L. That's assuming that they show up tomorrow. That's what I'm expecting to pay, it''s of my value to me right now.

We have a week before we have no water for showers & washing becomes a chore.

We could live until it rained, but it would suck.

Value is always subjective.

It coming!

I'm grateful it is.

The poor bastards are so busy trying to truck water to people.

I need to be a little more resilient.

No Fomo!

Trying hard man 😆

I know but hodl, should be used to it.

I heard that last night was interesting!

🤗

Only a few mm.

Maybe an extra quick shower or 2 worth.

None here, not a show. Get some tomorrow, but!

Monday looks promising.

I'll feel much more comfortable when my water delivery arrives today.

I've pulled out 1500L of rain water for filtering & drinking. This should tie us over until the real rains come in.

Water is energy too!

On BOM it looks like it, like Laura.

Bitcoin is digital gold and spring water is liquid gold

Spring water is!

Something to look out for on a peice of land!

100% Believe me I'm looking !

I've a theory that if you regenerate your soil with ruminants, then the springs will reappear. Your open water catchments will drop because there's. less runoff & more water in the soil

Yet to test it.

Yeah, totally understand. We lived without running water for the past two weeks. It took a good while before we figured out what the problem was, eventually it was the electrics in the pump. During that time, every day we collected nearby spring water with a bigger camping water tank in the car, bathed in the sea and poured water over us from a bowl outside. It's lovely to go through such phases and develop a different perspective and value for things, just as you described.

You certainly learn to appreciate the simple things that come so easily & effortlessly under normal circumstances.

Water delivered. I had a great chat with the guy who owned the water tanker.

He said someone contacted him stressed that she'd run out of water. She's a little further out & he's very busy. He added $40 to his normal charge for that location (normally $260) as he was going to do it tonight after his other booked deliveries. A pain in the ass surcharge of sorts.

The lady was upset he was charging so much. I don't think she's getting water today.

He said so many people treat his water deliveries as a right. That he's somehow obligated to deliver them fresh water.

The guy was one of the few that got back to me & he had a date that was reasonably soon. I'd expected to pay $300, he thought he'd quoted me $200 (I actually never asked what his rate was). I gave him $250 knowing that I can probably get him back fairly quick if I need to.
