Yes I always get stoned before I do any workout. Why because I am focused & push myself beyond my limit when I do. This does improve muscle building especially if you smoke before you go to sleep. Bulking involves minor muscle tear which heals while you sleep so to make that more efficent builds back the tissue better.
So it's important to get proper sleep & rest after workout because that is a major role in bodybuilding.
