I never read any of Dostoevsky, Kafka, Nietzsche and the likes.

Keep hearing about how great their books are.

If you would suggest a book for me to start with which one would it be?

Kafka is good, really good and appropriate for the times. “The Trial” maybe.

Thanks for the recommendation. Found it on Apple Books free. Will start with it. 🫡

Oh that’s nice!

Gulag Archipeligo if you dont want to go to sleep, ever.

"crime and punishment" is a great book, virtually the prototype for stuff like American Psycho and Dexter, at the time it was very very edgy, the dude almost got executed over his books

i found it interesting also that it's pre-communist, and in it in several places he talks about the emerging cult of free love appearing in russia at the time

I recommend this book:

I read the metamorphosis by Kafka. It’s a super small book and it’s impressive how he describes something impossible to happen but so vivid in his book!
