My opinion on the matter is still evolving. I think we are all better off focusing on the quality of content being shared vs. paying too much attention to whether an npub is fake or real. In a sense, we are all fake. We put up our best side for everyone to see. Some stretch the fairness further than others, and some are completely fake. Of course, I don’t think it’s good to deceive people on purpose but at the same time…we are kind of asking for it. We are all participating in a system that enables quick and fake identities. Perhaps we should embrace it instead of trying to “out” everyone who feels fake? Does it matter if they are a cat, a model, a presidential candidate or an influencer? What difference does it make in their message? Let their words stand on their own, and if they don’t, just don’t reward that?Just thinking out loud… nostr:note1r8lzkxtfauxsye34wz7kn45sde7wr8jyvqnstlv92fws9xmd8ukqqr6vvr
