Current state of the art board. Once this layer dries, I’ll work on the door frame and glass, which will just be a darkish gray to provide contrast with the flowers.

Second image is a close up to show the texture the Faber-Castell gelatos can provide if you don’t brush water over them.

This is a series of notes for my art project of using a reference photo of Mom’s flowers as the basis for a mixed media artwork that will be used to create a wooden jigsaw puzzle with garden whimsy pieces. Ideally in time for Mother’s Day. 🤞💐
