Curious.

How many #Monero users have installed Garnet the amethyst fork?

I'm hesitant. I'm concerned about loosing access to my nouns in a bug/glitch.

Just my paranoia.

I'm using for 2 days and working fine without major issues

Im holding out til I see what others say about it first. A first release and money are not a good mix generally

Ya, the reason why I bring it up is what if we just made a point of including our XMR addresses in our notes?

That way you can add an npub to your address book and then "Monero them" at will.

(MMH) Monero Me Here:

Well, shit. Never thought of that. Its so obvious now that you say it

Think I posted it the other day but when I brought my Monero wallet out of mothballs, I added the addy to my kind 0 profile here, just in case some advanced nostr users discover it. ;)

This is algia modified to display it, and I even have a L1 BTC address there too *gasp!* 😂

If you just include a Monero address in your profile (I see you already have one) then the Monero tip button will work on all your notes for Garnet users. You don't need to include a Monero address for every note for us to tip your posts.

You can sign with amber 👌

Tell me more about Amber

Is a signer, you put your nsec there to do safe logins.

So it's like nsec bunker or alby? I'm pretty dumb so bare with me

Yes 👌

Thank you sir

You definitely need to check Amber out

I use a Google pixel 6. Uncertain as to how to install the softs.

I need a solid walkthrough written for a five year old.

Is it degoogled or Android stock?

Anyways, you have a bunch of options:

1) For Nostr stuff, try zap.store

...it's an alternative store hosting FOSS apps

2) Fdroid, where you'll find all Foss apps. There are a bunch of other frontends like droidify, but at the end is all the same. Fdroid.

3) Obtanium. Install it from Fdroid, then you simply need to go to the github repository (or other repository) hosting the APK you need, copy the link and paste it into Obtanium. It will download and install the Apk and will constantly check for new releases of the software

4) Aurora store (google play). If you're on degoogled, try Aurora store...it's a front end for Google Play Store that does not need a login nor google account. You can basically find all the missing stuff that you didn't find on zap.store , fdroid or github.

Still stock

That's fine, the bullet points are still relevant

I'm paranoid and not very bright the two sometimes work in my favor by balancing out incompetency lol

Not yet. Not even sure I like amethyst.

And why you didn't backup your keys 🤷🏻‍♀️
