This is ok because it exaggerates just how bad not thinking before accepting something as knowledge or fact is.

I’d rather people become subliminally trained to become critical thinkers.

The downside is likely centralisation around ‘official channels’, where we may become dependent on trusted truth sources that have the same problem today - they often aren’t honest or open.
