I've got Graphene on mobile for this and will probably have to replace my old macbook soon. Any tips for doing this on laptop? Knowing that I am NOT a dev.

I bookmarked Fedora silverblue as an option.

Have you played with snaps at all? If so, why did you choose flatpak over snap?

I haven't. I don't like Ubuntu that much and I think snaps are too tied to Canonical. With flatpaks you can easily change source repositories

Sweet, I played with Flatpak on a laptop with OpenSUSE today after I posted. Was pretty easy to get started, and a lot of the apps I use all have flatpaks so that is a big plus.

Also looked at Fedora and will play around with it.
