Todays Zinger: why am I here?

No not like why am I here on earth or in the universe. Just like, why am I on Nostr?

Tbh I’m mostly on here because my wife’s eyes glaze over after about 30 seconds of me rambling about bitcoin. 🙃

I mostly am trying to take the thoughts that spiral through my head and make them real by getting them down on “paper.”

Like probably most folks on here I consume a ton of content about bitcoin, macroeconomics, and other related topics. All these fractionated bits of info from whatever snippets of podcasts I can remember all run together and in aggregate form my viewpoint on the issues of money, health, fitness, whatever else I’m diving into the rabbit hole on.

The rabbit holes you dive down can greatly influence your thinking, mood, and outlook. Think of the whole “red pill” analogy. But remember, if you can’t explain or teach a subject to someone else, then you probably don’t understand it well enough yourself. Try to understand a subject at least well enough to justify any effect it has on your mind.

I guess that’s why I’m here. Just using writing to grapple with the thoughts that occupy my brain. If I get some followers and zaps along the way that’s cool, but I’m mostly posting for myself here.

To be clear, I’m also here to shitpoast, cannot forget that part either.
