I had the joy of an early screening of the new Bitcoin documentary UNBANKED, co-produced and co-directed by my dear friend Lauren Sieckmann…and WOW!!!

This stunning film takes you across continents to meet people whose lives are being transformed by Bitcoin. From communities facing crushing inflation to individuals cut off from the traditional banking system, UNBANKED captures real stories of hope, resilience, and financial freedom.

It’s visually breathtaking, emotionally powerful, and a reminder of why Bitcoin matters far beyond charts and headlines. Uplifting. Inspiring. Unforgettable.

If you care about the future of money and human freedom, don’t miss this.

To watch the first thing it asks is your first name, last name, email. Wtf???

It's a film about Bitcoin and human freedom, yet wants identify info? For what?

Doesn’t have to be real

Yes, but then appears the next step is a credit card? I didn't go any further.

Yeah I never went in that far. I have started to refuse giving bitcoin related projects my support unless they offer lightning invoices. Put your money where your mouth is.

That's what confuses me. I mean I suppose there could be a Bitcoin payment option, but I don't get why you would host a movie called unbanned, on a platform required ID info and a credit card. 😂

But regardless you’re correct this shouldn’t be required

doesn’t even let you use an alias email

Yeah, I'll pass.

It asks for my name and stuff. This smells like fiat bullshit.

Looking forward to checking this out!

If I could zap 10,000 Sats and get a download of this that I could own I would do so. Shame it's only a digital rental.

I would if it was free

It appears we cannot pay with bitcoin. 🤔 I don't want to provide my credit card info.

An unbanked person cannot watch the movie called unbanked?

I'm hesitating on buying it to for that same reason. I believe that's ironic and sad at the same time.
