If you read that verse in such a way as to mean we should never hold each other accountable, never decide on cases, never call out error or sin, never correct, then I suggest you have read it wrongly. It's both/and, not either/or.

It means make sure that you aren't lost before you lead others. If the blind follow the blind, they both fall in the ditch.
