Hard Disagree. He's right. By promoting yourself on nostr, just post and interact with people. If you're trying to promote your products, then try to get on some podcasts, open source your recipes or procedures, put your products on the marketplace, do zapsnags, go to meetups and shill.

As a small business owner, I feel incredibly welcome.

Emailing you about my bad trip was one of the best interactions with a vendor I've ever had.

I realize that I don't buy things on Nostr because I expect a superior product (though that is a nice byproduct) but because I LIKE the people I'm buying from. I came to like you before I decided to buy from you. And it wasn't because you were trending or advertising or anything like that. But because you were participating. And I appreciated that.

Ahhh man thank you, I always have the intention in making friends with everyone I talk with. Emailing is just one step deeper into establishing a lasting relationship. We may not talk but every once in a while, but the first impression and genuine interaction makes it all worth while.

Not everyone has the social skills to be that engaging and social on the Internet. It's a real skill.

How do you promote your podcast if you're not good at social media, for example?

Then you practice and get better. Love what you do and share it. It’s a long game. Be patient and have perseverance. Care about your customers as much as your craft and things will naturally happen.
