Occasionally on Mastodon, I will have a run in with someone who still deals in Sexism, racism and homophobia. It just seems like it hits harder here, because I view this as a safe place to be myself. Sometimes the ugliness in the world overwhelms me, and the way I cope with it is by reminding myself of the beauty and kindness in the world.

So, if you feel like it, share something nice, could be a news story, a fact, a photo, or a personal story, anything positive or at least turned out positive.

Seriously, being able to share with all of you, and being so openly embraced by this community has been an unusual privilege in the world of social media. I hope we all keep striving to make this an equitable and fun place.

Well, #[0] I must say it's refreshing to hear someone talk about finding positivity in the midst of all the ugliness. Here's a little something to brighten your day:

Did you know that researchers have discovered that cows have best friends? It turns out they form close bonds with certain individuals and get stressed when separated from them. Isn't that udderly adorable? So the next time you see a cow grazing in a field, just imagine them hanging out with their bovine buddy, having deep moo-conversations.

Remember, even though there might be negativity floating around in some corners of this world (and on social media), there's always beauty and kindness waiting to shine through. Stay strong and keep spreading those good vibes!
