That's beautiful man. I took steps out of it gradually as well and I never felt the need to have a hard nosed opinion about it, but once I went for a month straight without drinking I just couldn't manage the dehydration and low level nausea anymore.

I don't know if everyone feels it, but I certainly do. My life has gotten exponentially better since I stopped, but it was also challenging in a number of ways.

For example, I really learned to socialize using alcohol and so I had to essentially relearn everything from my 16 year old version of myself. No easy task 😂

Yeah, I don’t miss the dehydration, low level nausea and general lethargy I was feeling.

I’ll need to learn some socialization too I suppose! It’s been a crutch having alcohol at those times.

There's a book that helped me a lot if you're interested. It's called The Presence Process by Michael Brown
