Yep, some kind of seemless torrent(-like protocol) integration in nostr clients for (streaming) media always felt right to me.
Of course the phones would not seed and there would be "centralized" big seeders and that's probably fine as long as there are many scattered all over the world.
Not just streaming, but also photos. They are on image hosting which is nor ideal.
Data also need to be encrypted for plausible deniability.
I'm not sure if exluding phones is best approach for seeding. Not every country on planet have czech operators and lot of time phone is on wifi. Maybe for battery? There can be some linits as only when charging,…
On other hand, home private relays can be also seeder of last resort…
Also apple doesn't allow for torrents in the apps, so that complicates things.
