First day on nostr… how do you find friends, people to follow?

Just start following people who are posting something approximating what you want to see.

You probably want to follow 2-300 people.

There isn’t an algo pushing stuff at you, its just your followers that your app will pull.

No follows = quiet feed.

Lots of follows = busy feed.

Sorry not your followers, but your follows.

No problem. A couple of warnings:

1). You are very early, this is like an open source alpha/beta era.

2). Things change VERY VERY fast.

usually i see people posts on global and chat with them in the topic is interesting for me!

also there are plenty hashtags to find ppl, such as #plebchain #coffeechain and #grownostr

go to nostr.band, try searching for keywords of people that might post similar things to you

no algo to suggest people based on your likes has been built yet
