Back in the day, for a while, Coinbase had a debit card. You could swipe this fucker anywhere in the world that Visa was accepted, and Coinbase would sell that amount of Bitcoin out of your account to cover that purchase. In the few months that they piloted this program, I spent thousands that way. About 12k. That was back when Bitcoin was worth about $600. Yeah I wish I had held a little more of that Bitcoin.

Holy fuck spending btc is so addictive and dangerous when I think about it, but I’m also glad we contributed to the network in some way

Shift Card. I had one. I regret everything.

I used it to pay for my family to move and bought furniture and home improvement supplies with it. Plus pretty much all the monthly expenses for a few months. Everything.

I think they scrapped the whole thing because it was probably really great for money laundering.

We thought we were living in the future, turned out we were just stealing from our future selves. Thing is, I don’t regret the sats spent to onboard other people. Just the ones spent on stuff.

In retrospect, it would have been better to take 100% of my paycheck in bitcoin and use the shift card to buy everything, but that's not what I did. 😢

Ugggg. Me too. I regret every 32 ounce Diet Mt. Dew I bought with that damn thing.

Biggest mistake I made in bitcoin.

Taught me to get off coimbase though. #[2]

This is one of many $200 coffees.

Dude that’s a $7000 coffee

Oh no that’s the balance… my B

No the coffee was 870,000 sats. The available balance was 0.35 BTC, about $137 at the time. Like I said, I regret everything.

Chunk also has a lot of regrets.

Woah… part of me wishes I had made that mistake this early

We’re all gonna look back at our zap values in a few years and have a good laugh 😂
