Set your phone screen to greyscale and maximum night light.

After a couple weeks, go back to default, and feel your eyes bleed.

Night light 24/7?

Yes.

I do use nightlight but I normally set if for a set time, might try it.

I'm not a tablet person but I really want them to succeed, really hoping for a regular (mobile?) monitor that has their screen technology!

They're working on an entire lineup: tablet, phone, laptop, monitor...

That's amazing, did they make any public announcements on those yet?

Yup, heard it in a couple pods.

Yea this is awesome.. I don’t go entirely colorless though. Just extremely dimmed. But it does help to see some color

GraoheneOS has a nice shortcut to switch from color to grey by swiping up two fingers from the bottom.

That sounds nice! The OS switch is something I haven’t done yet. But the nostr:npub1a00wj229auzjswlq4s77y4u8eqdx5k9ppatgl8rtv8va65f6mwksum9q3h makes me very excited about the future of screens. Have you used one yet?

also dark mode, I assume?

I can't do grayscale but an intense night light is decent until we get better tech.

Try greyscale, it's reducing the dopamine hit substantially

Grayscale + maximum Night Light >

Few

When I first heard of daylight, I thought the non-color screen was a deal breaker.

But now I've used my phone almost exclusively in greyscale for months, and its perfect for 99% of screen time. The biggest issue is with colored graphs etc, which you rarely see anyhow.
