I just assume everyone is a bot, spying on me, or this is all giant sandbox into the void. Then I am just pleasantly surprised if I happen to have a nice conversation every now and again with someone who may actually be a nice person. I'm here just to learn uncensored information. While venting my frustrations in a constructive way. Knowing full well this is just all a form of self therapy for me.

It’s all about not trusting but verifying

We aren’t “working together” to run Bitcoin, we all run Bitcoin because it benefits us individually.

You can see it with nostr a bit when we had replyguy and other spammers challenge and help the development of the tech

So it’s not collective altruism, but individual self-interest that makes these things work.

🫡 important to be clear about V4V and pay foss devs, but that should also be in the user’s self interest if they are being honest with themselves
