Sure, this slows down bitcoin adoption and scares off potential users, but it comes at the cost of miners getting significantly more fees and increasing the network security, which is in the end good for bitcoin. The whole ordinals crap is bad in the short run and good in the long run.

Maybe. But I pers. doubt that. It‘s just bad on all levels imo.
It‘s in fact a nasty exploit which slows down bitcoin transactions and bitcoin-adoption.
Not really concerned. I just don‘t like it.
