Email is essentially the worst. I don't think anyone likes it anymore. Decades of non-stop spam and email marketing ruined it.

So bad! Mine is essentially a to-do list and filing system. As a IT pro yourself you’ll get this, but they claimed Slack/Teams et. al would replace email…nope just another point of comms management. It’s terrible!
Sadly, it’s why I don’t answer my phone from random people anymore. I get more spam/scam than I do actual calls.
