It's a great idea. A version of it could be built on Nostr, but that's just doing the same thing again, building an alternative to what already exists. We need our own unique app idea that doesn't exist anywhere else.

Good point. The only thing we can get that all these other apps can’t is being able to have the same identity & follower graph in the #Nostr versions of those apps…

If we can build a unique Nostr app, anyone can copy it into a centralized version too.

It’s about what people can’t copy… the single identity across all apps — due to signatures & clients being open-source.

This is cool, but most people don't care about that just yet. They need cool apps to post their identity around, then they'll truly understand.

I think a lot of influences etc would love to take their Twitter followers with them to other platforms. Unfortunately follower count pulling is a weak area of nostr. Wish there were a better to find relays & pull followers from a greater variety of them.
