And as a professional software engineer who uses AI on a daily basis I can tell you that while it IS going to take some jobs, it's also going to level off soon.
AI right now is at that stage like nuclear power was in the 1950's. We have fission, it's only a matter of time until we have cold fusion reactors... yeah well, it actually requires another substantial breakthrough for that and it's not 80 years later and we still can't do it... and not for a lack of trying.
But if your job only requires a 90 IQ you might be in serious shit from AI soon.
AI isn't perfect, but it’s advancing fast. It will impact jobs, especially those with routine tasks, but there’s still a lot of progress needed for more complex breakthroughs. Adaptability will be key in the changing job market
