I guess "worth it" is subjective. I guess a better question is has it helped?

It depends I guess. Some people prefer to follow a certain route whereas others would rather use the code that someone wrote, copy it, experiment and learn that way. If you asked me, I prefer the latter 🤙

Might be a more painful way tho 😆

Ive never really been good at "structured learning" but i have no idea where to start. Lol.

Are you familiar with any particular programming language?

Been teaching myself shell script. And I know sql, html, css, php basics. Not a "master" of any of them.

nostr:npub138s5hey76qrnm2pmv7p8nnffhfddsm8sqzm285dyc0wy4f8a6qkqtzx624 had some open source code written in php. Am I right?

If you’re fine with JavaScript tho, there’s plenty of projects to look at. Also nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft is making a list with those that use nostr dev kit

When I get some time this weekend i wanna take a look at that list.

Yes, the api v0 is published at github and is made entirely in php. The new one (v1) is 100% Typescript so the old one has been without updates for 2 -3 months.

Also there is a library called nostr-php but it is not very maintained either, that's why I moved everything to typescript 🤓

Nice to meet you nostr:npub1gnwpctdec0aa00hfy4lvadftu08ccs9677mr73h9ddv2zvw8fu9smmerrq !!
