I ordered this hat last Monday because it said it would deliver before last Friday when I was planning to wear it for my appearance on The Bitcoin Group. The seller took two days to ship, so it didn’t arrive by Friday. Then on Saturday, USPS marked it as “delivered” but it never arrived. I even saw the mail carrier in person and asked if he had a package for me and he said no. So I opened a ticket with eBay. They told me I had to wait 3 days before they would investigate but “not to worry” because my purchase we covered by a “Money back Guarantee.” Today they simply closed my case, saying that the item was delivered. So now, a week later, I’m out $18 for something I never received.

While I recognize this situation is aggravating, I’m shocked the post office didn’t provide who signed for the package.

I sold lots of very expensive vintage watches on eBay, and the few times I had some delivery discrepancies, we always looked at who the package was delivered to, a signature is always required for anything of value

$18 is clearly not considered a thing of value.
