idk anything about starters but I'd mosdef be cutting it in half horizontally, spread a fair amount of cream cheese or gruyere, fresh chili bits, FGT (fried green tomatoes) and tons of fresh coriander on top, then cold cuts or grilled tenderloin tips, dill pickles and cucumber (julienned) on the side, dry red wine (not more than 13.5% alcohol) to flush it down with every bite ---> cross-eyed delicioso madness!!

Yes I agree, keep it simple. I love freshly baked still hot with just butter and salt. When it cool down I eat similar to you, with cold cuts and wine 🤤🙌🏻
