The point is that anyone can hold Bitcoin. Even y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶e̶n̶e̶m̶i̶e̶s̶ the government.

Yeah i don't understand why people even focus on it. Who cares?
Because it would change the world perception of Bitcoin forever. Governments, people, companies, etc .... Overnight change the way they think of it. Forget the fact the usg holds it or whatever.
It was bound to happen sooner or later. I was stacking today, i will stack tomorrow, regardless of the king of the world approving, or participating.
Its hard. People want to enforce their wills on others.
But you can stake it faster, or be a looser.

*aquire bitcoin* holding is a function of producing more than you consume, and government CAN'T do that.
Government is not an enemy .. lawlessness is a pleasing thought to them who haven't lived in that state .. mostly western youngsters.
.. that said ..we do need #doge ..every system needs cleansing ..even an opensource organisation needs a benovelant dictator :-)
