If email is an "owned" marketing channel, and nostr enables you to own your audience but lacks that "inbox" deliverability - what's to stop a function where all of your contacts can be dmed at once? Concern for spam? I can see how that would be massively abused. But how could we make this a reality. If it were, then you would not need to worry about building up contacts to reach all of them. A note is kind of a weak version because it comes and goes and disappears from people's feeds, but a DM is more permanent.

I'm just throwing this out there for the big brains to maul over and think about how we can turn nostr into a truly "owned" channel for marketing.
