They aren't as naive, as we are.
i didn't spend the majority of my 12 years in europe so far in bulgaria, serbia and bosnia for no reason
they are SUPER skeptical of everything, and especially former yugoslavs are ready to go to war over it at the drop of a hat, bulgarians are more low key
also, i'm especially skeptical, i feel like probably my ancestors were ukrainian, also in the white section, and also under the thumb of an extremely violent dicatorship at present
Both sides of Ukraine are under a violent dictatorship, at the moment.

i have a stake in this because my best buddy in homeless amsterdam was half ukrainian and got deported back "home" just before the war started, and last i heard of him was kinda alarming, and i loved that guy, a true tank (physically, he was able to tow a 10 person rowboat over the sand one time) and a survivor, those russian pigs didn't klil him (and that was probably for the crime of being half ukrainian)

i'm in favor of serious attempts to remediate the biological causes of psychopathy also, but i'm not optimistic about doing anything better than segregating them
