Replying to nobody

I don't resign myself to the fate of the Romans, but I do think there are some interesting parallels in the behavior both of politicians, and the mob.

Several decisions that were made that weakened the Roman empire that we seem to be trying to repeat too.

More educational in intent than pessimistic. ❤️

I agree. I guess I wasn't responding directly to your note, more to the general sense/feeling that is present. Your note had me reflecting on how manybelieve that the entire system must fail for it to be replaced with something new. I am hoping for a recalibration vs. a complete fall of an empire and its institutions.
