Let's say #Apple decides not to ban #[1] for allowing #Zaps for now. As soon as #Nostr grows seriously, they will ban any client for lack of content moderation.

So we need a great PWA client developed by one or a collective of anon developers. Work together to build a great client, enable #Zap sharing for the builders and we have a real chance of building something sustainable imo.

Stay anon guys ✌️

I think if Damus is solidly rebranded into Nostr Browser, then content moderation becomes a moot point. It’s like asking Safari or Chrome to moderate content! 🐶🐾🫡

Brave is on the app store and it has some "crypto" built in. Might be a good tack to take. With long form content like habla, and some highliter integration... Nostr browser.

Yep! Branding is important. 🐶🐾🫡

maybe we also have to realize that the apple ecosystem is not the right choice for us.

They will all start censoring as soon as #Nostr gets bigger, imo. So instead of relying on the next third party to not censor freedom tech, let's just build stuff that doesn't rely on any third party at all.

that's what I wanted to say 🫂💜

Damus def needs a plan b.

Plan ₿ ?

We could really use an open sourced phone manufacturer which wouldn't be dependent on Apple or Google.

This would slowly create free market incentive and big tech would either see their revenues crumble or they'd have to follow the tune and stop with censorship and other idiotic policies.

But it's easier said than done.

Content moderation is done by the relays.

Not a #[1] issue in my opinion.

Fortunately there will always be some relays who don't give a fuck about censorship imo.
