It really has inherited the best qualities of Bisq 1 and improved it by virtue of XMR's faster confirmation time. As long as both Taker/Maker are active at their PC, a trade can easily be funded, sent, confirmed and finalized in less than an hour.
I've always considered an hour to be pretty much the minimum. You need 10 confirmations for the Sellers Monero to go to the multi-sig and then 10 confirmations to go to the buyers wallet. After the trade is completed. Then the buyer also has to pay the seller, which can take some time. So I would consider an hour to be the absolute minimum possible in the majority of cases.
